Impermanence

A valuable lesson in life learnt today, nothing is permanent, nothing is forever. Hence the title, "Impermanence". I am no stranger to this term. As a Buddhist, i was taught of this term several times. But being the young and growing kid, this lesson was not appreciated by me, until today.

Why the sudden enlightenment of this term? Well, it started with a few things. I'll go through them one by one, the events that happened that lead me to the current stage.

First event, The Change.
The change occurred when i was active in a youth camp committee (currently still active), the committee changes every single year. Not to say a total revamp of the entire crew, but you get to see new faces coming in and the old faces retiring back into their busy life. The thought always appeared in my mind, WHY LEAVE? I did not realize it until i experience it myself. The answer is none other than, one word, LIFE. Not to say joining youth committee is a waste of time, but some people value personal time. When i graduated and started working, suddenly, time became very precious. Something i did not hold very dearly when i was still studying. Well, its a lesson well learnt, but i was still very ignorant of it until......

Second event, The Passing.
The passing of my grandfather two years ago was one of they key events that grew this thought. I'm not that close to my grandfather, sadly to say. But he still plays a big role in my upbringing. Since i was a child, the fear of my parents especially my father was HUGE, but i will still argue with them. But when it comes to my grandfather, the view of him holding the cane was enough to trigger a life or death reaction to a small boy. And thanks to that strict upbringing that i was the person i am today. Still not perfect, still learning as i go. What i learnt was never take things for granted and time never waits. I regret not being able to be closer to my grandfather, but i learn from this passing, having ever more gratitude, towards my parents.

Last event, The Leaving.
The leaving of a colleague and an important figure in the team (my first job and two different individuals) drew me ever closer to this lesson. It was my first job and i was naive and strangely believing that the team will stay the team. But even though i could see the obvious sign of a collapsing team and the fading of trust, i did not even thought that resigning would be their ultimatum. Nothing stays the same. Its the fact, a fact though cruel but ever enlightening. Losing them resulted in the remaining team questioning what was wrong, and resulted in a spark of new thoughts and ideas. I, myself will be leaving soon. To pursue career advancement. But, i shall not forget the short few months i was with them, because it was an amazing journey.

Having learn this lesson, i wonder, will i repeat the same mistake i did? Not appreciating the things i have, only to regret when everything is lost. Sadly, i will. WHY? Because i am human, or perhaps even better, i am not perfect, i can be mindful most of the time. But, i will make mistake as i go along, learning as i make them, growing from learning them.

Impermanence, its unavoidable, its unmistakable.

Outcry #5

The weekend was awesome.
Nothing much,
just a small one day trip to Port Dickson
with the KCBA bunch of peep
for ExPreSi Leonie  farewell.
It was a rush planning
but everything turned out well.

Steamboat inside the resort room
* first time in my life *
with ingredient bought from klang
* nothing beats home food *
Dipping in the pool at the evening
looking at the moon and the stars
resting with such incredible view really made my day
Eating with the peeps and making loads of noise
Eating fruits cut with inch long knife
Ending the day with loads of crap talk

Morning went buffet breakfast with Brandon
* the buffet sucks btw *
* no hotel name shall be disclosed *
while the others went to MCD with seaview for Bfast
took a dip in the pool
regret long time did not swim
my swimming technique all rusted off
Time to pick them up again.
Dip with the guys before we departed
Had fun and had DRINKS
*DISGUSTING WATER*
Had domino for lunch and
dig our way through a watermelon with plastic spoons
*awesome experience*
and went home
* went through jungle road, awesome experience *

Result from the day trip:
SunBurnt
Awesome Experience
Crazy First Time
Tired Body
Rejuvenated Soul

Today is 520.
Which is chinese translation for I Love You (我爱你)
Not limited to lovers only
So spread around the love
The world will be a while better place with more LOVE around
So yeah
I LOVE YOU

Outcry #4

Melaka trip with friends last weekend,
it was fun.
EAT and WALK all day long.
Walk a little bit under the sun already feel tired,
felt like age is creeping onto us,
or we just spend too much time sitting instead of walking.

The weather was against us,
as my friend's car aircond broke down,
it was like sauna inside the car.
The sun shone brighter whenever we reach the car,
as if it is trying to cook us with the extreme heat,
we had our protection from sunlight,
when night fall upon melaka.

What we had in melaka :-
Sam sok gong drinks-superb with the extreme hot weather,
Cendol-superb with the ghastly hot weather,
Ice sticks-superb with the blazing hot weather,
Baba Laksa,
Chicken Rice Ball-Had a record of 3 chicken, 80 rice ball for 8 pax,
Satay Celup-a whooping total of RM200+, had special alcohol served,
Nadeje Layer Cake-Thumbs up.

What we did :-
Walk.
Plank.
Wait.
Talk.
Joke.
Aging.
Played cheat. Was the lousiest player among all.
Pillow talk. Talk a lot, Experience a lot, Learn a lot, Reflect a lot. Thanks to my friend.

Looking forward to our next trip.
Penang perhaps?

Outcry #3

What a bad day.
Woke up late,
Stuck in traffic jam,
Forget to make appointment with auditors,
Trip on my own umbrella,
Umbrella broke into two parts,
Crazy hot weather,
Lousy memory.

And that is only for half the day.
But i believe the second half of the day will turn out to be better.

A long weekend to look forward to,
Melaka trip with my friends.
It's been a while since i join them to any trips,
Hope everything will go smoothly and i have a great retreat.

Congratulations on your successful event.
Now onward to the next battle.
The battle of exams.

Opinion for Msia #1

Malaysia election is coming soon.
Here are some opinion that i personally have
about the upcoming election
and also the manisfesto from both parties.

#1 reduction of car price.
Even though i would love to have this,
as a personal transportation vehicle is almost essential
to every single malaysian
However, being someone who is environmental conscious
i would prefer the improvement of the public transportation system

Why?
The reduction of the car selling prices would allow more malaysian
to be able to afford the vehicle of their choice,
thus increasing the number of cars on the road
increasing the rate of having traffic jams
and also increasing the rate of pollution

How?
Improve the public transportation.
Increase the number of public bus, train and cab.
Train driver with proper driving ethic and basic manners.
Standardize taxi rate and be strict about the metered cab,
strongly ban cab company that does not use meter to charge the passengers.
Introduce cheap fares plan for public transport to entice the public at large.
Increase centralized bus station especially within cities so that people can change buses easily.
Implement specialized lane for public transport especially within the city area
and fine those who abuse the specific lane.
Have new laws and regulation passed for road safety. Implement them strongly.
Have tax reduction for those who use public transport by introducing a touchngo similar system
to track all the transaction used for public transport.
and etc.

Iron Man Three

The first movie i watched for the year 2013
and my comment for that movie is
It's WAY BETTER than expected.

The story line was connective and self explanatory
The acting was great and appropriate
The actors are well chosen
The flow of the movie was smooth
The moral education behind the movie was HUGELY PRESENT
And the ending was a BANG

There will be no spoiler alert here
as i will strongly advise watching the movie in the cinema
with your friends and family
I can safely say that Iron Man Three have compensated for that
No EYE See Iron Man Two
And have paved a good way for the upcoming AVENGERS 2
Looking forward to watching Iron Man Three in DOWNLOADED HD

Before that, another congratulations for you.
Job well done after all the sacrifices and hard work.
Kudos to you.

The above link will send you
to a page where they have rated tentatively
the top job in the world and how they arrive at their conclusion.

It's quite an eye opener
as some of the job you think is in demand
like doctor, accountant and lawyer
are actually ranked quite low
Instead,
all the odd field of study manage to get high rankings
 like professor, mathematician

If you still have no idea what you want to do in life
have a look at this chart
google their respective job description
and who know
maybe you will find the right one for you instead

Here's a quote i learn from an hindi movie,
The 3 idiots,
which is very inspiring
"Persue excellence, and success will follow,

Seems familiar?
You should know it as well.
When someone reply you short.
When someone don't even bother to reply.
You have experience this recently for your job.
So, you would know how painful is this.
Even the smallest reply brings joy.

I find you cause i really do care.
I really do care.

I'm still waiting.
Waiting for a reply.
:)

P.S This is not aim at any specific person.

Hectic

Interviews,
Events,
Work,
Chores,
Gym,
Outings,
Fairs,
Sports.

Quite a packed timetable of mine for this month.
But i feel very satisfied with this,
as i am spending more time for myself.
Selfish? Yeah. I love myself even more right now.

Still waiting for the answer.
Waiting is the worst process in the world.
So many uncertainty and possibilities.
But, good things will come to those that are patience.
I hope it will be a good answer.

Two weeks already since the silent treatment.
Guessing its because you are too occupied to reply.
Or maybe you already gave up.
But still wanting to hear the whole thing from you.
So its another waiting game.
Hope it won't turn sour as i don't want to lose this.

Confused.Unsure.

I'm in a state of confusion
Severe confusion if i may say
Don't know what i want,
Don't know what i need.
This thought has been lingering in my mind,
ever since i have finished my studies.
Am totally unsure about my line of work,
is it the one i really want?
Should i pursuit something else?
Should i be brave and start over again?
Should i push myself forward regardless of my own interest?
Am i happy with my own life?
Am i satisfied with my own achievement?
So many lingering thoughts,
so many noise and advice.

The main question is still,
IS THIS WHAT I WANT?

-Jason-
I'm lost.

31.8.12-1.9.12

Overslept early in the morning
due to the very exhausting night ystd
shin dhee(SD), benazir(B), niroshah(N) and shin ling(SL) waited for me nearly an hour
outside my house, luckily i already packed everything the day before
so i rushed everything and we started our journey to Johor one hour late

In the car ride over to Johor, SD teased me all the way
because i was the one who told them i wont be late and etc
but everyone else have to wait for me
anyway, the car ride there was smooth,
there was hardly any traffic to stop our way
we actually reached Johor on time
thanks to SD superb driving experience

In johor, we actually took a bus into singapore
but the search for the correct bus took us some time
but eventually we found the bus near a place full of cat and dogs faeces
and after a few minute, we touched down on singapore soil and began our journey

It began with a boring long ride to the city by train, which is very EFFICIENT
mind you, after being stuck with KTMB for such a long time
the EFFICIENT train of Singapore is like a dream come true
as this round we are actually travelling light and compact
most of the time we travelled are actually on foot and train

Checked into our lodgings which is a backpacker lodge,
told ya we are travelling light and compact,
we cant affort the usual hotel charges.
Right after we settle down and get refreshed,
straight away we went to our next location
HARRY POTTER EXHIBITION

As a not so massive harry potter fan, i was pretty excited about the exhibition
the exhibition is actually showing of the actual props and custumes used
in the actual production of Harry Potter, everything from
the wand that was actually used, to the magical creatures
and some extra facts which are not shown in the book itself
it was a magical walk and the souvenier was EXPENSIVE
thank god we saved our money for THAT
bought a HP shirt and Chocolate frog( p/s i got prof Mcgonagall card)
after that is was all leisure time and walking around singapore

Day two, we rushed everything as fast as we could and got back to Johor by noon
and off we go to Melaka for an awesome food festival
the entire time we were there, it was just walk walk and eat eat
non stop moving our hands and legs and mouth
we even bumped into Justin there
and we scared the hell out of SD. which was such a fun sight to enjoy
still remember her reaction. WOOTS. FUN FUN FUN.
spend the night walking around jonker at night and lepak here and there
after that it was a smooth ride home. :D

This trip was short and rushing
but we had fun
it was our first trip with benazir,
she was damn excited and
we will look forward to more trips together
join us maybe, if you are interested. :)

-Jason-
i am so behind schedule for this.
